As part of our committment to improve education standards in Nigeria, and to continue our PR conference series, in 2010 Sesema participated in the 1st Careers fair for students wanting to go into the creative industry. Sesema was a sponsor of the event, and created a 2 hour masterclass addressing areas such as writing winning campaigns and effective releases.  Please watch this space for what we intend to do for 2011.

TRAINING

As part of our corporate social responsibility we are supporting two students a year from the mass communications department of LASU (Lagos State University).  The students will spend both of their three month industrial training periods working with us and we believe will be better equiped to go into the real world of PR at the end of their degrees.  Those who excel can expect sponsorship of their final year and training from us too! 

SPONSORSHIP

Sesema PR staff participate in the educating of young school children at the Ovie Brume Youth Centre by taking an English literacy class at the centre once a week.  We see it as our duty to help make a difference in the lives of under privileged children. 

It is with great pleasure that we are sponsoring the education of a sweet young girl through the NGO Sponsor A Child.  Sponsor A Child is dedicated to provided less privileged children with a better life and we are delighted to support such a cause.
