Mohammadu Buhari To Probe NNPC’s ‘Missing’ 20billion Dollars
Nigeria’s president elect, General Mohammadu Buhari has promised to probe the missing $20 billion dollars from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC). This is following the allegation raised by former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Alhaji Lamido Sanusi in 2014.
The president elect’s campaign strategy had a primary thematic message of a ‘corruption free Nigeria’. Obviously, this is a step towards the anti corruption process as Nigerians await to hear the unraveling answers of questions posed to the current government.
